Airbus H225 (EC225LP)

The Airbus H225 is ARC’s largest, fastest and most modern Australian-registered aerial emergency services, aerial crane and charter aircraft. The H225 was chosen based on its proven performance worldwide and the unique combination of performance criteria:

  • Recommended Economic Cruise Speed: 150 knots (Vne is 175knots)
  • Endurance (1): 4 Hours + Reserves (at 150kts cruise speed)
  • Endurance (2): 4.5 Hours + Reserves at 80 knots
  • Safety Margin (2 -Engines): Capable of Category-A operations at most weights
  • Day/Night Operations: Most stable platform support by 2x 4-Axis Duplex system
  • Internal Load limit: 4000kg (4 tonnes)
  • External Load limit: 3800/4750kg (3.8/4.75 tonnes)
  • Passenger Carrying capacity: 19 passengers/crew (22/28 seats in high-density seating)
  • Winch/Rappel: 600lbs load/270 ft cable length (Available on request)
  • SAR Medevac/Casevac: Combo of 3 Stretches Litter + 12 passenger seats + Hoist
  • Windows for SAR/or searches: Largest windows in the industry (North Sea standard)
  • Bambi –bucket (with longline): 4000Litres with 100ft/60ft specialised slings (Variable drop)
  • Belly Tank (external tank): 8 years proven, 4250 litres (multi-drop), 42s pickup

Bell 206 L3 LongRanger

The Bell 206 L3 LongRanger is the stretch version of the Bell 206 Jet Ranger. It can accommodate six passengers. The helicopter can cruise up to 210 km per hour, while its two-bladed rotor system delivers the smoothest ride in its class.

AS350BA

The AS350BA is well-known in the aviation industry as a safe and reliable workhorse. It has a cruise speed of around 245km/h, can seat five passengers and has a large baggage compartment.
